START-UP BRANDING & PACKAGING

Tiny Bee Gift Co.

Gift One. Give One.

Tiny Bee Gift Co. is a startup that provides meaningful, personalized gift options for baby & child, while reinforcing the concept of giving back. For each purchase of a book, they give a second book of equal value to the school library of your choice. The donation is up to you – you can choose to donate the given book to your local school library, a school library in your own town that might need it more, or let Tiny Bee make an impactful school library donation at a school that needs it most.
I helped Amy, the founder, hone in on the style she wanted for the company. From there I created the logo, business cards, packaging, and website assets. We worked together to make sure the designs spoke to her target audience, young parents, while remaining playful and fun for the kids who would receive the gifts. To play into the book theme, I styled the enclosure gift notes off of library cards, and we used self-adhesive library card sleeves with a custom stamp to tie it all back in with the brand.

Some portfolio updates are coming before the end of the year (because I’ve procrastinated on that for long enough) so some more design focused posts are coming down the pike. But for now, you’re stuck with this cutie. 🤗
Proof of life. I’m still here, still designing/w Proof of life. I’m still here, still designing/working during every toddler nap and late into the night. This year is such a beat down, but I’ve been trying to make sure we have more positive days than negative. I find my fuse has been shorter the further into the year we go (like today, one tiny human had to be touching me 95% of his waking hours) and it’s something I’m hyper aware of and I know I can’t be alone in.

I’ve also learned I am not great at keeping friendships active over text or video calls and rely on in person-plans. Friends, please know I hope we can pick up where we left off when things are safer. We’ve cancelled or postponed so many trips, play dates, childcare plans, the list goes on. On the flip side, we’ve seen so many baby milestones together that I know one of us would have missed. Anyway. Just saying hi. Here’s some pumpkins.
