Because I’m a one-lady show, I often book my projects in advance. Once we get started, however, the full process typically takes between 4 to 6 weeks. This depends on client response time and any additional add-ons. Don’t worry, a full proposal with a detailed timeline will be sent to you for approval before we begin!
Need a little more? Many of my clients have additional needs, and I’m absolutely game to build out your brand to live up to its fullest potential! Additional graphic design projects such as custom illustrations, brochures, direct mail pieces, newsletters, and packaging are all custom quoted. For most projects, we split our work into two phases, focusing on the brand package build out first, then tackling your more specific needs. Please contact me to chat and we’ll figure out what works best for you!

I take pride in investing a part of my heart into every project I take on. Sometimes this means I need to adjust my process to match what makes sense for our project! That said, I’m no stranger to brand creation, and there’s always a method to the madness.
That sounds like we’re getting married, doesn’t it? I mean, you are really nice, but let’s stick to rockin’ an awesome project. If it seems like we’d be a great fit to work together, I’ll send over a proposal with project details, timelines, defined deliverables, and payment details. You know, the nitty gritty stuff.
The fun begins! Before we get started, we’ll hop on a call to chat about your brand, your goals, your target market, and your sense of style. From there, I’ll go back and do all the research. I research your aspirational brands, your competitors, and everything in between. I then build a strategic moodboard that begins to curate an overall style for our future work. This acts as our first building block in creating your brand!
With an approved visual plan in place, I’ll begin crafting your custom designs. Usually we’ll start with the logo and refine upon that to nail down the perfect option. I send my rationale with every option, and I never send marks that I’m not proud to stand behind. Once we’ve decided on a logo, we’ll build out the rest of the brand collateral and elements.
I offer two rounds of revisions on every deliverable in our project. Typically these include things like exploring color and font options and doing fine tuning on the details. In the rare occasion that additional rounds of revisions are needed, they’re available at $125/hour.
After we complete your project, I’ll package up all your fancy new files in an organized, easy to download Dropbox folder. Deliverables typically include your logo package, brand guidelines documents, and any collateral we’ve agreed to depending on the brand package you've chosen. After downloading these, you’ll be officially ready to go!
I’m dancing, are you dancing? You should be, because by this point you officially have a gorgeous new brand to launch into the world!
I get a lot of emails with really great questions, but in an effort to be a wizard and read your mind before you send that email, here are a few common ones.
Can you build me a website?
Sorry, I no longer offer web design or development. In order to better serve my clients, I’m focusing on my true strengths: identity + print design and custom illustrations. However, I have a few partners I absolutely trust to take over after we go through the branding process!
What kind of clients do you like to work with?
Eating one kind of food all the time gets pretty boring, right? I love to change it up. I get real excited about a brand when you’re just as excited about what you’re doing. That said, I definitely have a specific aesthetic. I’m all about modern, clean design with gorgeous color palettes of all kinds. A lot of my work tends to have a slightly feminine edge, especially when we’re talking illustration.
I don't need a new brand, but I have ongoing needs. Can I hire you on retainer?
If it seems like we’d be a great fit for an on-going relationship, I’m always open to new retainer clients! Reach out and let’s chat.
How many clients do you take on at a time?
I work with a lovely handful of recurring retainer clients and take on around 2 or 3 new projects each month. I’m happy to chat availability anytime!
What’s your hourly rate?
My hourly rate is $125/hour. However, because I’m only able to take on a handful of new projects a month, I’m often unavailable to work hourly on smaller projects for folks I don’t already have a relationship with.
I need an existing print piece from another designer updated with a new color palette or copy. Do you do that?
So sorry! I’m not the best fit for these types of projects. I focus on fully custom design. That said, I know you’ll find the perfect match for this in no time!
Do you offer printing?
I have relationships with talented printers all over Dallas. From high volume to small scale letterpress, I’m always game to handle the ordering and management of your print goodies as a part of our project!
Are oatmeal raisin cookies better than chocolate chip cookies?
No. No they are not.
