I fight design crimes through creative problem solving and beautiful visuals. As a one-girl shop I strive to create good design for good people, with a focus on small businesses, start-ups, and the socially conscious.
I’m a graphic designer in a small package. Don’t let that fool you, however. I have one big appetite. An appetite for inspiration, tiny typography, gorgeous color palettes, and of course, chocolate chip cookies. I like to get stuff done right & have fun while doing it.View My Work
With a degree in Communication Design from the University of North Texas and experience designing for a variety of clients – restaurants, museums, retail, beauty brands, makers, and more – I’m ready to solve any design problem thrown my way.
Before I design, I have to research. I research your competitors, similar industries, opposite industries, and everything in between. I gather inspiration and talk with you about your goals and vision. Communication is a core component of my process, because without you, there is no process. We work as partners to revise on proposed concepts and create something that’s not only beautiful – it’s a solution to a problem. So go ahead, send me an email about your project and let’s work together to make something great.
Emily’s work and work ethic have completely transformed our organization! I knew Emily was the right choice to rebrand our Theatre Company because the logo development process was so much more in-depth and creative than any other company or individual I spoke to. Her extremely prompt production has allowed us to expand our marketing and design platforms while keeping to a multitude of deadlines. On a more personal note, Emily has been a joy to work with as a person. She offers the best of both worlds; effective graphic marketing and design, and a great person to work with.
I worked with Emily throughout the launch of my company. Emily initiated a very thorough process to make sure she understood what I was looking for in terms of my company’s look and feel. She immediately honed in on the perfect style and designed an amazing logo. She subsequently designed product packaging, website elements, and marketing materials. I highly recommend Emily – creative, talented and a delight to work with!
I've worked with Emily on several projects: event promotion design, branding of my brick & mortar store, rebranding of my own personal artwork, and the list goes on. Emily always creates inventive designs that sell their purpose, and has managed to work with me within a variety of deadlines. She sticks by her design beliefs but isn't afraid to take criticism and make changes - she's just dedicated enough to make any changes be ones she believes in. A truly talented and passionate designer!
Emily has worked with us on new projects and on fixing old projects. She is creative and timely. Emily was able to take very complicated concepts and text and give it visual simplicity for our customers to understand our product in an easy way. Her designs gave a sense of cohesion between the look and feel of our product (videos), our site, our packaging, and our marketing materials. I would highly recommend her.
Working with Emily is always a pleasure! She is a talented and patient design who works hard to produce consistent, stellar work every time. I have hired her on a number of occasions and she always delivers!
I’m the only designer, but I do have some help around the house. I mean, it would be lonely working in a room all alone, right? Between the expert of distractions and my champion squirrel alarm, it’s bound to be an interesting day in the office.View The Work
