New Website, New Goals

It feels like I only update for major milestones, and as usual, I apologize for that. I tend to keep my head down and focus on client work, and it leaves little time for things like personal projects, blogging, and nurturing my business. This year, I have major plans to change that. With deadlines… because that’s the only way I’ll ever get things done.
The first major deadline I’m hitting launches today, and you’re looking at it! After over a year of having a website that was slowly breaking (portfolios not loading on mobile or Safari, icon sets breaking, responsiveness going haywire, etc) I finally have a fully custom website, developed by the super talented Lindsay over at Made to Thrive. It’s the first time I can ever truly say that I’ve designed the website myself and not just hacked away at a purchased theme to make it work. I’m thrilled. Stoked. Elated. So pumped.
Next up I’ll be shooting a lot more work to get added to the website, because I’ve had some pretty fantastic clients over the last year that need to be shown some love (I’m especially lookin’ at you, Eatzi’s). I’m aiming to have that done by mid-April.
There are a few other murmurings happening in my studio… a print line, video workshop series, and some new freelancing materials may or may not be on the agenda for this year. In June I’ll hit two full years as my own boss, and I’m excited to take my game to the next level!
In the meantime, check out the new site, and say hello.
